CONNECTIVISM

 

"Connectivism is a cycle of knowledge development that begins with the individual, it feeds the network of personal knowledge, that feeds on the organization, thereby affecting the network and provides the learning back to the person. Therefore, the task of filtering Internet research and valid and reliable sources, shows the characteristics of connectivism.

This process of learning, knowledge and understanding through this network of personal contacts is connectivism "


Connectivism is the thesis that knowledge is distributed across a network of connections, and therefore that learning consists of the ability to construct and traverse those networks”. Stephen Downes, What Connectivism Is.


For me, Connectivim is a theory about learning that, as says the quote above, proposes the basic activity of learning is construct networks thought nodes of information. The main connectivism theorists are George Siemens and Stephen Downes.

whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
 in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham,
drudgery and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
